KPC's giant bamboo plantation project is a comprehensive initiative designed to address socio-economic and environmental challenges in Mindanao, Philippines. Through this, we aim to complement the government's environmental recovery and climate change initiatives while generating local employment opportunities. By promoting agricultural diversification and sustainable land use, KPC also revolutionizes industrial agriculture in the country, elevating it to greater heights. Furthermore, as bamboo is known for its high carbon sequestration capabilities, one of our goals is to significantly reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere that cause global warming and various atmospheric phenomena by generating high integrity carbon credits that will help offset current emissions.
